Here goes a lovely submission from the lovely Shauna! Hello! I’d like to introduce a new, completely indie band to you all! :) Radio Room have the catchiest party songs and I don’t think they are in the public eye enough! What have you done is their newest track of the moment, and I find myself having to constantly click play over and over! It only has about 800 listens between Facebook and Youtube, but I think it deserves a lot more! Defo give these a listen! nom. nom. nom. Shauna
Here’s some acoustic love as submitted by one of our followers.
Asker is an indie-rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The track “Cathedral” can be found on their first demo/EP United EP, released in September 2011. Asker draws from influences such as Editors, U2, and the National..
The song can be found (and downloaded for free) here
Thank you Luke!

Hello again! Today I bring you a song by Daniel Johnston (better known for his t-shirts) who has never been loved for his guitar skills but his music is magical regardless. This is Story of an Artist by Daniel Johnston.

Hello lovelies! I will be taking over for a bit while Gabe is gone. For today I have some ‘77 love for you guys. This is currently one of my favorite songs and, I must admit, I like it even more than the original Kinks song. This is Lola covered by The Raincoats.

I died and went to heaven.
Feed Me Indie fans! In five days I’m going for a long trip to Holland and Japan so I’m going to be gone for about a month. I’ve asked former-member and co-created of Feed Me Indie, Agu, if she’d be willing to do some posts while I’m away and she agreed to do some despite her very busy schedule.
Today I was listening to the album English Riviera by Metronomy and I came across one song that I fell in love with again. It’s amazing and the little intro is so fucking sick, simple but awesome.
I have a thing for when the women of a band take charge and sing. This one is an excellent example and I will show you another amazing one with Ra Ra Riot.
I bring you Everything Goes My Way by Metronomy.

Enjoy!

WELCOME 2012
It’s my first post of the new year! Sorry about the delay I’ve been going out more often then usual and getting ready for my MUN trip to Holland in a couple weeks.
This song has been my wake up song for quite a while. It’s a very upbeat and great song for a nice weekend “walk in the park” It’s by a indie-rock band from Austin, Texas. They’ve opened for the Flaming Lips and Gnarls Barkley. I present Walk in the Park by Oh No, Oh My!.

I hope you guys have a great year.
